THE STORY OF KANDELA

The Spanish word meaning of candela is 'candle' and 'light'. Our first encounter with the word candela was thanks to a children's book, one of the days when we were looking for new paths to follow. 'Candela', a book heroine; In his own story, he appeared before us as the symbol of free spirits and the most unconditional form of love. 'Candela', just like its name; He was illuminating his surroundings with his light and acceptance as he was.

Children's books were a road map for us in bright days and a candle light in dark days. The roads were sometimes bright but difficult. Sometimes flat but dark. Sometimes we knew where we were going, but we had difficulty walking, and sometimes our paths were too dark to even see our next step.

As two friends who passionately believe that walking all these different paths is ' life ', in other words, life is a state of being on a path and the healing of light on this path, we decided to call this journey we chose for ourselves ' Candela '.

Not to draw the path, but to shed light on the path,
We believe in the power of accepting the person whose path we shed light on, as they are, establishing relationships, accompanying them, and walking together on difficult paths with a 'candela' in our hands. However, we believe that everyone has a candle within themselves and has the power to illuminate their own inner self and their own path.

Light , in this form, with all its forms inside and outside us, is a metaphor that beautifully symbolizes our perspective on therapy. We are here to shed light on dark roads together and to multiply light with light, on all the journeys we will have the opportunity to accompany.
